The morning was marked by steady rain, but after lunch, we set out on a cycling trip to Sainte-Mère-Église, just in time to catch the opening of a fascinating WWII Army display. Fortunately, we made it back before the rain returned.
The scooter we purchased at Christmas has been a fantastic investment. Covering the 22km journey to Sainte-Mère-Église and back, it used only half its battery—an impressive performance!
When we got back to motorhome treated myself to cheese and wild boar and merlot pate. Of course washed down with a tin of beer.
Today beer sample. Hoegaaden Belgium beer. It's a pale cloudy wheat beer. Not to everyone taste.
