WW 2 Tour
Day 1 -3
Arrive Cherbourg . Short drive to 1st overnight stop Sainte-Mère-Église. Campsite or Aire. visit airborne-museum. It is possible to book a jeep tour online to depart from here.
Day 3-6
Travel to Arromanches again stopping at various WW2 sites. There's a camping car park aire in the town or campsite outside the town. This can also be used as a base. Visit the museum in centre of village for an indepth look at the planning of the D Day landings.
Day 6 -8
Travel to Honfleur stopping at other places of interest. There is a large aire and campsite in the town.
Day 8-9
Leave early for drive to Mont garden. Aire in car park with no facilities. Book online for entrance to the Gardens.
Day 9 - 11
Le Man stay in camping car park aire in Saint Saturn, a short bus ride into Le man. There are a couple of aires in Le Man, these have no facilities and are busy.
Day 11 -14
Mont Saint Michel can either stay in a large camping carpark aire or book into the campsite. cycle path and shuttle bus out to the island.
Day 14
Return to Cherbourg for ferry home. If you arrive early at port, there is a large aire close to the town. Drive past the port entrance towards town and aire will be on your right. Short walk into town
