After spending five memorable nights near Utah Beach, we’ve now made our way to Rouen.
If you’re visiting during the June 6th D-Day celebrations, a stop at Sainte-Mère-Église is highly recommended. The town comes alive with numerous events spanning several days. To make the most of your visit, it’s best to book your accommodation in advance if you plan to stay in the heart of the festivities
We’re parked at an Aire by the marina, just a 10-minute bike ride from the city center. The cost is approximately €14 per night, which includes electric hook-up (EHU), as well as access to toilets and showers.
