World War 2 Visits 

There is a wide array of museums and memorials to explore in Normandy, particularly along the historic D-Day beaches. The map link provides an overview of most of these sites. Having visited many of them, we've highlighted a few standout locations below.

A must visit on any WW2 tour. The 1st house to be liberated. Its possible to stop for a coffee as the house is part museum coffee shop.There is a large museum  with amble parking a short walk from the Bridge.

If  you're looking to explore further afield, there are several destinations that are well worth your time. Take a trip into Belgium and discover remarkable places like Bastogne. 

Oradour Sur Glane is a Martyr Village. During WW2 over 600 people including children were murdered by the Waffen SS.
