Bernkastel-kues 

Is a lovely old world village on the banks of the Mosel. Great area for a bit of wine tasting. There is a large motorhome aire a short distance from centre with a  dedicated cycle path. There is a winery facing the aire were you can sample some lovely wine. A cycle ride on the other side of the mosel is a large motor vehicle museum and number of large supermarkets.
