Bayeux
This charming town offers several Aires and a conveniently located campsite near the center. It is best known for the iconic Bayeux Tapestry, a must-see for visitors. You'll also find a great selection of shops and restaurants to explore. During our visit, we stayed at an Aire situated on a working farm, just a short and pleasant bike ride from the town center. From the farm, you can enjoy cycling along scenic country roads—we used e-bikes—to reach the historic village of Arromanches. It's a delightful journey filled with picturesque views and a touch of local charm.
