Albert Museum

Located in the heart of the historic Battle of the Somme, the Somme 1916 Museum in Albert offers a powerful journey into the lives of soldiers during the Franco-British offensive of 1916. Set 10 meters underground and stretching 250 meters in length, the museum immerses visitors in strikingly realistic and evocative scenes of trench life.

Every year, on July 1st, the village of Albert hosts a series of poignant events commemorating World War I. For those staying overnight, a convenient campsite is just a short walk from the village center.
